Henan Mine Group Creates A New Frontier for Science Popularization, Receiving Nearly 20000 Visitors Annually To Explore The "Great Nation's Heavy Weapons"

Henan Mine Crane Co., Ltd. fully leverages the platform advantages of its Henan Crane Equipment Education Center, integrates unique resources such as the China Crane Machinery Museum, laboratories, and intelligent workshops, and continues to carry out characteristic science popularization for the public. The center firmly adheres to its functional positioning and provides an important window for students and social groups to understand the knowledge of lifting machinery and experience the charm of industrial technology through various forms such as special exhibitions, science popularization lectures, and on-site visits.

By 2025, the center will receive over 500 science popularization visits, with a total of nearly 20000 visitors. With the help of technology activity weeks, national science popularization months, and other nodes, a series of rich content and vivid forms of science popularization activities have effectively enhanced industry exchanges and stimulated the interest and deep understanding of lifting equipment technology among the public, especially young people.

The China Crane Machinery Museum was built with an investment of 120 million yuan from Henan Mine and is located in the Changyuan Mining Intelligent Industrial Park in Henan. It opened in April 2024, with a building area of 7600 square meters and an exhibition area of 3000 square meters. It receives nearly 20000 visitors annually.

The museum is the first crane machinery museum in the country, with the theme of "Crane Machinery that shakes the world with great force". It has an introduction hall, ancient crane machinery, modern crane machinery, new Chinese crane machinery, Changyuan Crane Town, and a tail hall, collecting 763 sets of collections, most of which have been exhibited. The Changyuan Crane Town Exhibition Hall introduces the origin and development of the local crane industry.

The main functions of the China Crane Machinery Museum are as follows:

Science popularization education: Through the display of cultural relics and historical context, popularize knowledge of lifting machinery and the development process of the industry, and let the public understand the "national heavy machinery". For example, after visiting universities, teachers and students can combine textbook knowledge with physical objects.

Cultural Inheritance: 

Protecting and inheriting historical materials of lifting culture, carrying the historical memory of the industry, and showcasing the development trajectory of Changyuan from the inheritance of the craftsmanship of the Song Dynasty's cloisonn é to its current status as the "Capital of Chinese Lifting Machinery".
